Xbox 360 Port forwarding information

There are three steps involved in this

1. set up Xbox to have a static IP address
2. set up port forwarding from internet to Xbox
3. check the connections

Set static IP address

In the Xbox start at the main menu and navigate through
System
Network settings
Edit settings
Edit IP settings
Choose Manual
Now enter the static IP address mask, Gateway and DNS
Typical
192.168.1.200
255,255,255,0
192.168.1.1
192.168.1.1

After changing the DNS settings select test live and press A.
All should pass and NAT status say moderate.

Set up Port forwarding

Log into your router and access the gaming and forwarding area.
Fill in the port forwarding for the following three ports.
Application       IP Address                   Port      Protocol
Link1              192.168.1.200             88        Both
Link2              192.168.1.200             2074    Both
Link3              192.168.1.200             3074    Both

After all the configuration  rerun the test live in the Xbox and this time all the settings should be Confirmed and the NAT open
